Fly Fishing the Kern River in California
I was in Anaheim, CA on business and took a day off. I met Graham at his house in Burbank and he drove us up to Kernville, where we spent the night. The next day we fished the Kern River north of Lake Isabella.
After grabbing lunch at a local ranch (funky but the hot dogs were great) we headed up to Peppermint Creek to chase some wild trout. I stalked and caught a beautiful little Golden on a size 22 RS2 – a great day!
On the way out, we witnessed a magnificent Sierra sunset.
